Who We Are

At Pinnacle our mission is to provide living support services to IDD/special-needs adults who wish to live independently within their local communities. Our non-profit was founded by parents of special needs children who understand that support is not a Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm job. Support means being there 24hrs a day, 7days a week, whenever and wherever your child needs help. Without this level of support, family members (parents, siblings) or friends will be the only resource these IDD adults will have… and as parents, we know our children will live longer than we can provide for them.

Pinnacle’s goal is to solve this problem! We are building a platform that leverages the use of mobile technologies to connect our clients (IDD adults) to skilled advisers who follow specific protocols to ensure your adult child has the support they need, when they need it.

Pinnacle was founded by parents and family members of IDD adults.

At Pinnacle, we think non-profits can do things differently. Pinnacle is creating local-community-based businesses to fund our 24/7 Living Support service. Pinnacle was formed out of the belief that a non-profit can behave like a for-profit business to produce revenue (in addition to donations) to ensure long term stability. How?

  • Pinnacle’s local community based businesses provide training and employment opportunities for IDD adults.

  • Jobs are also provided through our partners and affiliates.

  • These local businesses, who strive to integrate our IDD population in to the local community, generate on-going revenues to fund the 24/7 Living-Support service. Our long term goal is to provide Support Services at or near a $0 cost to our clients.

A Non-Profit that behaves like a For-Profit… Pinnacle’s Board and Advisors are committed and responsible for establishing and maintaining the businesses, as well as overseeing operational excellence from our services team.
